How do you keep cats off outdoor furniture?
-
Jeannie on Mar 26, 2015Have had the same problem. I use moth balls, I sprinkle them around and in my gardens . the cats and other critters do not like the smell. the smell of the moth balls fade, so you wont notice it after awhile. But the cats can still smell them !Helpful Reply

Rebecca B on Mar 26, 2015I have the problem with my cats scratching the furniture inside and outside. I squirt them with a sprayer bottle of water when I catch them in the act of getting on the furniture. It took two weeks but they finally learned they would get wet if they got on the chairs. It is harmless to the cats. This may not be practical in your situation since they are the neighbor cats. There is repellent available at Walmart, Home Depot & Lowes that will discourage animals from coming around the area. It is specifically for cats and dogs.1 marked as helpful Reply

Ruth wallace on Mar 27, 2015Are they his or wild. If they are wild they could carry disease, call the pound. If they are his talk to him . That is to many to care for properly. Pet stores have a spray called kitty off that is safe for furniture but repelles cats.1 marked as helpful Reply

Moxie on Mar 28, 2015Put aluminum foil across the cushions and tuck in on the ends for a while; they hate the sound, it scares them and then the will quit trying after a while and you can remove them. Can't blame the little furies for liking a comfy seat! I had the same problem and it was an easy, quick fix for meHelpful Reply
