Hey folks! well here is a simple but elegant project that will add some style and beauty to any bathroom this is my take on a project that was designed by Mrs Sandra Powell’s Sawdust Girl site: https://sawdustgirl.com/2013/11/13/diy-gift-ideas-cedar-bathtub-caddy/ She has an excellent cut list and a couple of variations you can build based on your skill. Here’s my take:
My wife always adds a touch of elegance
This is the finished product my lovely wife has enjoyed many a relaxing evening in the tub
I used a Cedar planks that I got from Lowes, they are like two bucks a piece. I used waterproof glue (also at lowes) and some pin nails to put it together until the glue set. A little sanding, some light stain and polyurethane and some wax, Maybe an hour or two, and of course let my wife decorate it. She loves it and we have had it in the bath for quite some time. This would make a lovely housewarming gift along with some goodies from your favorite bed and bath store. “oh and by the way, check out what some of these cost” hope you like!
