Here is my take on a very cool upcycling project. Taking a discarded table leaf and turning into something very special. Here is a photo of the before
Before: 3 of these beauties for $5
Front and back of the leaves.
Since these are solid mohogany, I primed and then began painting.


Van Gogh Fossil Paint to the rescue! Patina with Mama's Boy.
Add some mirror....
Voila! These are ready to hang. I've included hardware to display both


vertically or horizontally. Love how they turned out!!

      @Opal Bowling That's a great idea. I have two solid oak leafs from a table that broke. I could probably even use the legs. Thanks for the idea.

    Simply gorgeous, I'm almost speechless but I'll say it again simply gorgeous. I have seen so many unbelievable creations since I have found this web site that it leaves me breathless. I'm very creative too, but having a difficulty uploading some of my pictures and work. Keep the ideas coming I'm all in for a makeover anytime or anything.
