Oak bookcase

Question

What can I do to a bookcase I am tired of looking at but need the storage of it? I would love to use it in my kitchen which is country with coke collections

Sand it all over, then paint it, using white, red, black- Coca-Cola colors. Alternatively, use Coke themed wallpaper or border to cover the shelves, and paint the frame the color best suited for your kitchen.

I did this to an oak entertainment center: add crown mould at the top and a white wash paint (or you can use the milk paint fad) either way it looks amazing

I'm redoing one of my bookcases also and I'm going pure white to match the cabinetry in my kitchen. Beadboard paneling nailed to the back and a wallpaper liner to the inside. The wallpaper was in my kitchen in our first home and I love it but the kitchen in our new home tends to feel darker (we've added new lighting and we do have three windows in the kitchen) I'd go pure white on the interior of your bookcase so the Coca-Cola collection pops with bold color.

I also have bead board in my cabinets but they are honey pecan with Kona Bay Silestone counters and a parquet floor that looks like real stones and also in browns.But I also have a plate shelf and has all kinds of coke trays ,trays,bottles and I have special bottles that unless you are an airlines that my husband works for they give employees special anniversary of working with our airlines so I have some real special ones. I also have pens playing cards .I could go on and on ! I am still playing with ideas. But keep them coming cause something may hit me ! Thanks Y'all ....
