Pretty Pink Cake Plate

I'm sharing a new Pretty Pink Cake Plate I made over. I found this last week and shared it but it was an unattractive tarnished gold and needed a little makeover for sure.
I love cake plates but this is so cute and petite and cloche like and I knew it would be perfect for my shabby n chic kitchen and great for desserts, Easter and get togethers.
This is how it looked when I found it. Cute but it had a more inexpensive look to it.
I love using Rust-Oleum Spray Paint as it’s a 2 in 1 Paint and Primer so it goes on beautifully.
I just took time and sprayed on 3 coats of paint. I love to paint outside, away from my concrete, lay a bunch of newspapers on bushes and paint and then walk away. I go water or do another project and come back in an hour or so.
I layered in some faux grass and added some of my decoupaged Easter Eggs for our table. It will be pretty with cupcakes in it too.

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day, Lisa

Would there be a way to refinish it so it would still be foodsafe?
