No Sew Pockets in a Canvas Tote
Here's the thing- you totally COULD sew in the pocket... but I am just not great at sewing anything beyond a hem and I didn't want to mess up my nice new tote. So I used hem tape, and now I can organize my tote bag instead of letting all my stuff just jumble around at the bottle of it.
I bought my tote on Etsy and used some scrap fabric my grandmother gave me, along with hem tape (I like stitch witchery)
I put 2 pockets in, a smaller one for chapstick and gum and a larger one for a notepad and my glasses case.
Super easy, super cheap, and took under 30 minutes! That's my kind of project. Hop over to the blog for full details!
