Good question. The contractor has a lot of examples of other work on his website. One in particular was a photo we found by googling "pictures of screened porches" and that brought us to his website. We discussed aspects of his other builds that we wanted in ours by going through photos of those examples on his ipad. Seeing actual 3 dimensional work was very helpful. He then provided a couple of pencil drawings of our proposed build - overhead view and side view. We needed this plus examples of his work to get approval from the HOA.
