I'm in desperate need of info on how to clean a really bad looking stainless steel fridge. I'm trying to clean water spots-fingerprints and huge cleaning mistake smudges from my stainless steel fridge. I have tried commercial cleaners and home made cleaners to no avail-HELP- it looks disgusting and not pretty.

I just use water. It seems to work fine. Maybe if you warmed it up it might be better. I sometimes use just a bit of mineral oil on my SS sink. That might be helpful also.

WD40...just wipe it on, let it sit for a few minutes and wipe it off.

Make a mixture of 1/4 C rubbing alcohol 1/4 C white vinegar 1 Tbsp corn starch 2 C warm water I mix mine in a glass vinegar bottle and take the spray nozzle from $1 store bottle. Shake it before you use it each time and use a microfiber cloth. You can use a magic eraser lightly on the tough spots then use the cleaner. Good luck

I bought a stainless steel refrigerator on Craig’s List that had numerous scratches and looked pretty bad. I took a fairly abrasive pot scrubber and gently ran it over the door up and down in very straight lines. I went over and over the door until all the horizontal scratches disappeared. A light coat of mineral oil over all the door afterwards made it look new again.

I WEIMAN SS CLEANER AND POLISH. FOUND IT AT WALLMART. I WOULD CLEAN IT REAL GOOD WITH SOAP AND HOT WATER FIRST, MAKE SURE IT IS DRY BEFORE APPLYING POLISH.
