Faux Counters Still Look Great!

Three years ago, I gave my ugly, white Corian counter a facelift and installed a vinyl film that mimicked Ubatuba granite.
Here’s what it looked liked after install.
I had salvaged the Corian from a house I demolished and installed it in my mudroom. You can't beat the price -- free! -- but it looked sad and tired.
Here’s the counter when it was white.
So I installed EZ Faux film, vinyl that looks like granite. Here's where you can buy it: http://www.applianceart.com/Instant_Granite_Film_s/104.htm. And, no, I don't have any connection to the company, other than as a satisfied customer.
Here's what you need.
Install is easy: Clean the counter with a microfiber cloth. Cut the roll of film so it fits over the counter and around the sink. Peal back the paper backing. Spritz the counter and back of the film with water so you can easily reposition the film if needed. Then smooth out the film and remove puckers with the tool the company gives you.
Three years later.
The film has held up beautifully over the past three years. Granted, this mudroom counter doesn’t get heavy traffic. I bathe the dogs in the sink, so the counters get wet at times. And if you stick your nose on the film you can see scratches from the dogs' nails. But, mostly, the counter looks great. I often forget it's faux. And if we ever sell the house, I’ll have to remember to tell a prospective buyer it's a fake -- but fabulous!

In the house we are in now I just used a cheaper type Formica with pretty rounded edges. Looks to be somewhat the color you have made happen. One day I came in from the grocery store and the lid wasn't tight on my bathroom cleaner and it spilled on the cabinets. Dulled them and left a spot where the bottle had set just a few seconds. Trying to cover with a large decorative metal hot pot cooler or switch to a chopping board at time since. I do so hate that happened. Then I splattered some nail glue on them by accident one day not to help the situation any. Know any way to get that off?
