Making one bedroom into two bedrooms

Our two kids are currently sharing one medium sized bedroom in a loft/attic floor. Both sides of the rooms have tilted roof, where as on one side a small room/closet is built in with enough space for my daughter to have her bed and dresser there. I was thinking of it is possible to split the room in two by putting up a permanent wall. We would have to remove the one centered window and replace it with two new ones and off course adding an extra entry for the hallway.
Now I am wondering if anyone can direct me to others who has done similar. Preferably with pictures. Thanks!

My Son had to do this for his children. He and his friends built framework to divide the room, then put plasterboard on. Looks really nice when decorated and works very well.
