My Yard - Outdoor Decor

I love using urns and pots of metal and clay in my yard and outdoor decor. Hydrangea and all white flowers are what I love to look at in my yard. An old bike added to the mix makes me smile. Any cool old junk or metal or concrete pieces can be used to create a unique outdoor decor that is just your own style!
My rusty fence project was a favorite of mine. I loved the 'floating' effect of the flowers on the old fence.
A vintage bike with a vintage basket - add a potted plant to the basket and you have a delightful display.
I used a fresh mint plant in this pot last year. I love the green, the scent of mint, and being able to pop out my front door to get clippings for adding to iced tea.
A small boxwood added to a concrete urn on the front post made a welcoming entry.
Hydrangea - Incrediballs never fail to produce their hearts out and make a wondrous profusion of flowers all summer. It's like having fresh flowers delivered every day.

Urns - the real deal not plastic. I love how the patina changes each year from the weather. Placed at the end of our walk they create lovely curb appeal for everyone driving by.

On the side or our small barn I hung a planter made out of an old window - The succulents planted there were my favorite of anything I'd put there and I will be doing it again! Come fall, the succulents can be transplanted to pots and moved inside. Come on over to the blog to see all the pics described here.
