I live in upstate NY I would like to convert a concrete patio into an all season room. I was looking at the manufactured rooms. Does anyone know an approximate cost and any information on this type of addition.

We had a 4-season room added about 10 years ago. It is 10' x 22'. We had an electric heater and ac unit installed also. With the new foundation, heat and a.c. unit, the ceiling fans etc I think our room ended up costing somewhere between $10 and $15 thousand. We are in the Midwest in the Chicago area so we have some pretty hard winters so we also installed a wood burning stove to cut the cost of heating. We used a company called Better Living but our local company went out of business. I think the company is still going. We went with a manufactured room because it fit the style of our house better than something custom built, though we were able to choose many variables to our room. For instance all our glass walls are sliding doors so we can rearrange the room and still get in and out with ease. We love our sunroom and spend most our time there now.
