{Before & After} Cream & Orange Console Table

When I was debating on what color to paint this cute little console table I knew I wanted to do something inspired by fall, but I tend to have a difficult time with the colors orange and yellow - which are fall colors in my mind.
I originally painted the entire table in "Carnival" by Sherwin Williams. I was not loving that! So I started experimenting with different colors to see what would make it stand out, but still have that "fall" feeling.
I ended up going with Navajo by Benjamin Moore. I LOVE the way it turned out. I distressed the edges to make the orange paint just peek through.
Then I went over the whole thing with Vintage Storehouse Antiquing Powder in the color Roasted Chestnut. I love this deep brown color. It slightly aged the paint and pulled the entire look together. I also stripped the peeling veneer off the top and stained the wood underneath this nutty brown color.
Plus I added this cute knob I got from Hobby Lobby for the cherry on top!
I'm in love with this color combination. It would be gorgeous with some blue & orange accent pieces!
