Dog urine

How can I keep my dogs from peeing on wood chair legs, back of my leather sofa? I clean it but they keep going back. Please help!

    Have you tried cleaning with vinegar? You have to completely remove any scent that the dog can still pick up

  • ..I was also going to suggest straight vinegar........if for wood, use it diluted. For carpets, etc...follow with Folex carpet and upholstery cleaner, and then a rinse of diluted vinegar water. :) This should remove the scent and the stains.

    @Kay Clifton vinegar is the answer. You may have to do it several times to get the urine off from it. We use baby gates to keep the dog out of our living room, don't have to attach it to anything, just so it tells the dog this room is not for you when we are not in it. We have them for our family room as well, works like a charm - dog only in those rooms when we are.
