How to Create Large Scale Wall Art on a Budget

I’ve been on the search for some large scale wall decor for our master bedroom, and this project was sort of a happy accident that occurred along the way. Yay for happy accidents!
You can view the full post and tutorial over on my blog.
I had tweaked the colors of a photo I had, and then turned it into a watercolor image with Photoshop. I then had it printed at Staples as a 36x48 color engineering print.
We had some plywood cut to size that was just slightly smaller than the engineering print I had printed at Staples. {You could also use canvas or foam}
Since this was a massive print I decided to use spray adhesive to attach the print to the plywood.
I first taped down one edge and then the hubs helped me slowing roll the paper onto it.
After all the edges were taped to the back of the plywood I went over the top of the print with some glossy Mod Podge. This gave the print a more polished, finished look.
I then used my silhouette scrapper to get rid of any wrinkles - a credit card would also work.
We then framed the wood out and here it is all hung up

    Please share if you would, how you framed this masterpiece. A tutorial would be helpful. Thanks!
