How to Create Floating Wall Shelves With Old Cake Tins

30 Minutes
Easy
Ensure the tins are clean with no hints of grease in order to successfully adhere wallpaper as a unique background to your shelves. Spray paint the tins to add a splash of complementary colour.
Use a tin with a removable base, this will give a professional finish enabling you to use the base as a template for the wallpaper.
You could hang your round floating shelves opposite a feature wall, using the feature wallpaper to line the tins. Check out my blog post to find out how to adhere paper to a non stick surface. What will you use as weights to keep the paper flat whilst it dries?
You can change the colour of your tin by using a multi purpose spray paint
What will you keep on your shelves?
