Is it wrong to use a different color scheme in several rooms? Basically I'm earth tones, but love light aqua blue, sage green & bittersweet orange? For kitchen & bathrooms.

@Debbie Lucas you can use different colours if you like. If you don't have open concept people won't really notice other than that you have decorated each of those rooms for a different feel. If you have an open concept, i.e. no separation between dining room and living room (one continuous wall) then you should keep the colours the same.

In one word, YES. There should be a flow to all the rooms in your house. Your basic palette should be the earth tones. Every room should have the same color woodwork (doors, baseboards, window casings). Use your blue, green, and orange as accents in pillows, curtains, and other accessories, but one of these 3 colors should be the dominant one for a room.
