What type of window blind would you recommend for a sunroom?

Hi all! We are adding a sunroom/family room onto the back of our house and I am struggling with this decision. There will be nine 42"x66" windows with five of them against the back wall of the room. Over this bank of windows we will have three fixed-pane windows following the gable roof pitch so there will be a lot of light and views onto the meadow behind our house.
We want blinds that will tuck up out of the way but will be easy to lower at night and we can't afford mechanized blinds. I've been looking at cordless cellular blinds but I don't know anyone who has any. Are there any brand and/or style recommendations out there? Anything to avoid? Thanks!

Home Depot has cellular blinds in store that can be cut to fit your windows, of necessary. Usually only stock a couple of basic colors, but they are cordless.

Woven woods. Go to blinds.com. Not expensive, choices, lots of texture, beautiful up or down. (IMHO cellular shades are just plain ugly.)

    Thank you, ladies. :)

The cellular blinds are a real hit with me. I hate to clean, but love a clean house. With a brush attachment on the vacuum, cleaning is super-easy.

I am contemplating a sunroom that sounds like something similar to what is being described.. I am thinking about vertical blinds that can be drawn to one side of each.set of windows. Like venetian blinds they can be turned to control sun patterns throughout the day.. What do you think about this?

@Les Weber I thought about vertical blinds, but there won't be enough room between the windows to mount them outside the frames and I don't want to impede the view with stacked blinds pulled to one side. They also won't go well with my cottage decor but thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. :)

We bought a home with a sunroom. It already had cordless cellular blinds on 1 window, then the rest were covered with a mesh type fabric that I can see through...but it reduces the sun heat. She had bought this stuff online in a roll and cut it to fit. If I want it up I roll it up and secure with a clip. I can still see out, but nobody can see in unless there is back lighting at night.

If you don't already have the windows, I would get the ones inside the glass, honey cone style that go up and down from the top as well as the bottom. PS, I hate cleaning blinds.

It would beadvisable to get express curtains and blinds for your sunroom to enjoy thelight and the wind during day time. However, during months with extreme heatand weather, it would be ideal to have Roman blinds instead to keep the heatfrom coming indoors. You can check out Blinds Onlinefor more options to choose from when it comes to window blinds and windowtreatments.
