Organizing the Cans in Your Pantry With 50 Cent Photo Boxes

I was having so much trouble finding anything in my pantry since I had all the cans stacked up and they would fall over every time I needed to dig through them.
When I was walking through IKEA I noticed that the photo boxes were the perfect width for cmy canned goods. And at only 99 cents for TWO of them.. they were the perfect price. The problem was that you couldn't see inside them.
So I decided to do a quick hack and was able to cut them down and reassemble them so they would be 'dispenser style' I even utilized the lids to create a second layer of storage.
Now I have doubled my pantry storage space plus organized it.. All for less than $2!

The cut down photo boxes and the lids create double layers of can storage.
Here are what the boxes look like when you get them at Ikea.. because they are assembled using little pins and screws you can actually manipulate the size of the sides.
Here is how I was able to to create the shorter front side by cutting down the cardboard and moving the holes for the pins down (a full tutorial with step by step instructions on exactly where I cut and how I folded the box can be found on the blog: http://www.thekimsixfix.com/2015/04/organizing-cans-in-your-pantry-for-less.html)
