Darla on Apr 21, 2015Get some kind of sealer that is rated for outdoor use. You might have to recoat in the spring if the shoveling scrapes off the finish.Helpful Reply

Lee Cunningham Green on Apr 21, 2015I would go with the marine grade, it is worth the money, I did a paper bag floor and I liked it very much in my last house, but in truth it was in a guest room that didn't get lots of traffic or wet often. But I did think the floor was durable and attractive and who could beat the price?Helpful Reply

Melly on Apr 23, 2015What is the porch made of? Wood, concrete? I wouldn't advise putting paper bags over either of these. I think that in the long run it will fail and you'll have a worse mess.Helpful Reply
