Good Day my BEAUTIES! I am finally back with a new post! It was a long time coming. After getting ready for spring break and then the drive there and back and then the back to the grind schedule of school and sports; I had to take some time and just focus on the family.

But things have slowly settled back into a somewhat insane (normal) schedule so I can get back to business. I bought this cabinet a few months back and just loved the style of it. It I am sure was originally part of a hutch or something, but this was all I bought. It's almost 5 feet tall. I can't imagine setting on top of something. :)
I created a custom gray blue and got to painting. I wanted to leave the inside wood to make it POP a little more and keep some of the authentic vintage style. When it was dry I distressed it, waxed it and buffed it, giving it that aged finished.
For the FULL makeover be sure to head over to the blog. Plus you can see everyone else's amazing inspired pieces.

It's really nice. It looks red inside though, is it just the light, because you said you were just leaving it? Good job.

@Lori thats just the lighting Its the original wood finish although the lighter paint did make it feel a bit darker!
