Keeping the Vacation Memories Alive in a Special Way!

After a great "educational" vacation overseas I had a lot of leftover Euro's in my wallet. I didn't want them to just sit around collecting dust, nor was it financially worth it to exchange them back to our currency.
What is a girl to do, but make a few pendants out of them!
Don't wear jewelry? You can use these to decorate many items in your house. Have them dangle down from your chandelier covers, add them in as fringe to your curtains....or why not wrap them around your favorite jars or containers with bead chain for a quick accent.
Using a regular drill bit, some leftover hardwood flooring, and painter's tape to hold the coins in place.......
......a hole was made at the top of each Euro. My favorite out of all of them were the $1 Euro and the 20 cent Euro, only for their size, weight and texture.
I then added a few beads to represent the countries that we had visited.
These Euro pendants are a great way to "relive" a fun vacation each and every day! This little project is not limited to European coins, as this can be done with any coins that you may have in your wallet.
