Want to paint laminate flooring and Formica countertop

I'm thinking of using chalk paint. Can you suggest a better idea?

i know my gramma used to paint her linoleum floor when she got tired of it but don't know what kind of paint she used. she passed away 1959 so of course it was before then. she got down on her hands and knees and sponge painted her floors

You can use Chalk paint to paint your floors I work for an annie sloan stockist you just need to seal it when your done with a top coat.. NOT WAX

for the counter top go to the hardware store and in the paint dept they have a countertop paint kit for like $75. It looks and works GREAT (not the counter paint but the kit) I did mine and it has lasted for 4 years and going strong!
