Stabilize light shade

We had 2 light shades made with the industrial look in mine and got what I was looking for. It is made from recycle iron and is very heavy. We used round saw blades to help secure it, but is will still lean at times. Any suggestions? My husband thought of some ideas that I don't like, such as fishing line.

The fixture needs to be secured with lamp parts you can find at your local home improvement store. Basically building a light fixture from scratch.

Small chain painted to match and s hooks should work and not ruin the look may even add to it

You should check how the light box is attached to the rafter. A ceiling fan brace might be the safest answer.

I'd venture to say they weigh more on one side. Perhaps gluing small drapery weights to the top corner edges, could level them out. These are generally quite heavy but flat in nature. If less weight needed, you could use steel washers and a drop of glue.
