Gardener's Hand Scrub - Cleans and Softens!

If you are anything like me, the minute spring hits, you turn into a gardening fool! I've been pulling weeds, pruning bushes, planting seeds and mulching. My hands were a complete mess, so I decided to make a hand scrub to help clean and soften them. This mixture works so well, it even got all of the nasty black mulch residue off of my hands and out from under my fingernails! Did I mention that it smells like heaven too?
Gardener's Hand Scrub...it's a great gift giving idea too!
Add some sugar to a small jar.
Next, add some coconut oil. You can use other oils if you like, but I prefer coconut oil because it smells amazing and has been known to help heal really dry skin...I've been using it for so many things over the past two years.
Add some Grapefruit Essential Oils (Lemon, Orange or Lime Essential Oils work great for this scrub too!)
Give it a stir and use for yourself or make some to give to your favorite garderner! I use this mixture on my feet as well, and they are nice and smooth now! To see the exact measurements and so many more homemade spa recipes and cleaning solutions, hop on over to the blog using the link below!

I am definitely going to give this a try - and, as you say, a great gift for a gardener!

I've been looking for a new recipe for my mother's day gardening baskets - so THANK YOU! (I'll post a photo of my baskets when they're done.)
