I would find some funky fabric and make new cushions. Then I would spray paint the wicker white or black or maybe even a fun color that would coordinate with your cushions. Good luck with your project!

I just thought of something else. You could upholster the backs and give them a new look, too.

You could also try to paint with chalk paint if you don't want to spray paint. Home Depot has a few brands. I like @Jill Cannon ideas of getting some funky fabric, too

Thanks Jill and Amy. I will combine both ideas. Great ideas.

I can see new cushions or cover the old ones and weaving ribbon of coordinating colors through the backs. Paint them to match a special sports team and get fabric to go with it. It would be off white for the wicker and Nebraska colors for the cushions for my husband. For me, it would be royal purple or white for the wicker and various shades of purple for the cushions.

I'm moving into a new house soon and was thinking about white with teal cushions. My daughter would love the purple. Smile!

Personally I really like the natural look of wicker. I would just replace the cushions.

I have 2 just like those!! I spray painted them in a Krylon .... Oil Rubbed Bronze...I love this paint!! Also got some thick.... dense foam for the cushions and covered them in an animal print fabric... it had some black and darker brownish/gold colors..... so it turned out looking very nice and classy!!
