Our First Fairy Garden

by Amy
Hi! I've been admiring everyone's creativity and ingenuity on Home Talk for a while now. This is my first post. Thank you everyone for your clever ideas and inspiration to bring my creative side back out!
Most items are from the thrift/$store, except fairy & gazing ball (Menards).
Stepping stones are shower hooks, fire pit is a napkin ring.
I wish it was visible, but there is a pond behind the fairy. Plants, mostly from my yard & coleus from Meijers.

Just adorable. Thinking out of the box, love it and My mind is going crazy. Love it all. I just posted my first : Joanns first fairy garden on HT was afraid to put too many accessories in pot. Take a look. I'm going to get braver on the next one.

I'll look for it Joann. Thank you! I know you can get very carried away with these! I wanted a bench, tire swing, hammock, potted plants, lots of other stuff! But didn't have enough room! Guess I need to make another one! Hope I find yours!

Amy, I thrifted the other day and found a beautiful white wire gazabo with attached pink flowers on it for $6.00. Mind is whirling. Now don't laugh, but, I cooked a beef shank recently and when I took the bone off the meat it looked like a log, so I cleaned it up, dried it and am going to lightly brush it with tan/brown craft paint to age it and use it in a gnome garden. Everything I look at now I wonder how/if I can use it. Laundry soap not so much, ha.

Ha! You're too funny! Hey, whatever works, use it! Putting one of these together certainly does make you look at things differently! The gazebo was a great find! Can't wait to see the garden when you're done!
