DIY Pool Rack Baby Mobile

20 Minutes
Easy
Everyday objects are not always what they seem. Like this pool ball rack that I turned into a baby mobile. I needed one for our little girl's room and this was the perfect thrift store item to use to turn something discarded into something functional.
Gold, white and glitter made up this mobile that I created from a pool ball rack and ribbons.
A few other bloggers and I participate in 'Swap It Like Its Hot' where we exchange thrift store items and make them over. This was a pool ball rack that I received. I knew it had great potential as a mobile.

First I painted the frame white, then I used ribbon from my craft stash and hot glued them to the frame on all three sides.
I attached eye hooks and chain to hang it from the ceiling in the nursery and now the baby gets to enjoy the sparkle when she's in her crib.

These ribbon are various widths, and colors, but I used a mixture of gold and white and some pieces of a fur boa.
