How can I keep wild turkeys out of my greenhouse when it's open?

I have to keep flaps up and doors open in my greenhouse so it doesn't get too hot in there and a turkey came in already and dug in the dirt of one of my pots. I need suggestions that are easy please. I don't want to have to put a fence around it.

    Get a dog!

@Mikell Paulson thanks for the suggestion. I have my son's dogs here when he goes out of town and the husky/wolf definitely chases them away but unfortunately he likes to dig in the dirt as well

Make a screen door or screen panel. Keeps the air in and the turkeys out.

@Lyn Marino thanks for the funny comment. I was actually out on my porch at 6 am with the bb gun, I didn't have to shoot it cause that sucker couldn't take off fast enough lol

If you have a freezer, fill it with future Christmas & Thanksgiving dinners!

@Gerald Skipper as a matter of fact we do. I have to get a gun permit first though. It's definitely a good idea. I was attempting to shoot one this morning for waking me up at 6 am with my BB gun lol, but that sucker couldn't run away fast enough

You can put chicken wire over the top of ground or open areas where the animals/birds are digging. It will keep the dog from digging and the turkey from digging as well. Next year plant the tomatoes thru the chicken wire. It's big enough for the plants to grow thru but anything that digs will hate it.

Um---you might need more than a gun permit; these are PROTECTED wild birds and if you shoot one (hard to prove a "self defense" claim against a--turkey)---you risk being arrested by FEDERAL law enforcement. Grab some common sense and some lumber and make yourself a SCREEN DOOR---or go to Lowes and buy one.

Turkey are protected? They have turkey season north of where you are, there are flocks of them..and beware they can be vicious, they will chase you, no wonder they were head guests for the first Thankgiving. Cover the open areas with poultry wire and add a screen ddor to your greenhouse.
