A Coastal Guest Bedroom

We live about a mile from the Gulf of Mexico so it's a given that our style, and our home, is on the coastal side. Our family loves to come down to visit so I wanted the guest bedroom to feel even more like a beach house escape.
I am inspired by the muted, weathered tones of seashells and driftwood so much of the decor in here is light and airy and in those tones. I wanted plush, comfy bedding and this set from Pottery Barn has a beautiful water-tone in it.
The weathered finish on the mirror and seagrass shades on the lamps bring in that tropical element as well. I am completely jealous of my guests getting to stay in this room, and often sneak away for a nap in here myself :)

This room also got quite the dramatic update with a DIY shiplap wall, see it here!
