Hemp oil and milk paint

I need to know how to remove the hemp oil, after putting HO on a painted piece the next day there were "dry looking spots" none showed with just the paint, (problem with wood that was not visible)? I reoiled the spots several times, it looks good til next day, then all spots show again, I tried light sanding and steel wool, no help. thanks everyone.

I know that @Kathy @ Petticoat Junktion has experience with hemp oil, maybe she has some advice...

I followed thru with Shira's suggestion,still waiting to hear something. Sad when asking for some help in several different areas/sources no answers are given, so maybe no one knows..
