Where can I buy small succulents?

I live in Illinois, and want to make either the succulent ball or the frame. The nurseries around there sell the big containers of succulents but not the smaller one that fill in the gaps. Anyone who has ever made one of these, where do you get the smaller ones?

I get mine at Lowe's. Be sure to check the price of the larger pots that have 3-4 different succulents. Sometimes it is less expensive to buy the bigger pot and divide the different types.

I ordered my succulents on Amazon.com the total cost with shipping was $33.28 for 20 small plants. It sounds high but I couldn't find a nice range here in Bucks County, PA for less. They arrived in great condition within a week. I was pleased with the quality.

try your local box stores....walmart, safeway, superstore, rona, home depot, home hardware, Canadian tire etc... these are the Canadian stores to these goodies.. also friends & neighbors... if they have something you like.. ask to pinch off a couple of stems.. then root in moist soil... extremely easy to root.. good luck and have fun!
