How do I put cloth on paneled sliding closet doors?

I seen it on TV on a DIY show but can't find it again.

Use Modge Podge. The instructions are on the jar.

If you want it to be removable, use wallpaper paste or liquid fabric starch. The liquid starch is sometimes used to put fabric on the walls of a rental, because it can be peeled off the wall, then wash the wall and the fabric. No damage to the wall, and the fabric can be re-used in the next apartment. (The wallpaper paste is harder to remove and generally needs to be steamed off) You need a large tub or bucket, and have to immerse the fabric completely, it should be wet but not dripping. It will be messy, so put a drop cloth or something down to make clean up easier. Smooth the fabric onto the surface and let dry. If putting it on a vertical wall, use straight pins or thumb tacks every so often to hold fabric in place till dry.

Just depends on if it is temporary or permanent.

@Geralyn Burleson I use whatever is on sale. Doubt there is much difference. I'm sure there's a youtube showing the details on how-to

Liquid starch is the way to go. I did an accent wall a couple yrs ago and it held great and came right off when I changed it 2yrs later. Although I tried it on my glass windows on my front door and I couldn't get it to work so I used spray adhesive instead. I haven't tried removing it, but it was temporary so I'm assuming it will come off if I ever try? =)
