Did you check the pipe that carries away the moisture in the air that you are cooling? It could be plugged and not allowing the water to drain properly.

Have you changed your furnace filter? And as mentioned above make sure the humidity hose is not plugged. You should see water draining from it. Don't spray anything into the unit! That could cause damage and could be dangerous. If these things don't work you may need to have it serviced.

The A/C coils should be in the unit not in the house. You can take the cover off and spray the unit with a water hose to rid it of dust etc. Your return air should have filters replaced monthly if you live in a dusty area like out in the country vs city. Once you get your outside unit clean and filters replaced you may want to spray some lavender or eucalyptus oil on the filters. This will give you a nice mild scent throughout your home.

Do not try to clean the outside unit yourself....unfortunately this is a service best performed by a professional..hubby is in the business as they say and he says you can damage all sorts of things if you do try it yourself....get your filters changed...sign up for a maintenance program and they do it. Free every year.....
