These dollar store vases and vases combine together to make a gorgeous pair of candle holders. Indoor or outdoor use, they accent the summer beach feel in your home, or the patio life outside. They are easily refillable with dollar store votives. No one will know the inexpensive cost to these expensive looking candle holders.

I adore the Dollar Store.

Yes, there is cheap junk there, but there are fun little basics there too.

I try to think outside of the box when it comes to items from there.

You can get decent service ware there. Plates, glasses, bowls, mugs…

Candle sticks, vases, candle plates…

Cheap craft items too.
Let’s start with two vases, silicone glue (it’s just caulk in silicone form) and several bags of marbles – whatever colors you want. I went with blue and clear to go well with my room.

MIGHT I MENTION: These beautiful candle vases would look stunning outside in the evening at dusk set up on your patio. They are pretty perfect for outdoor use, and wind would not be able to move these sturdy vases.
The vases and marbles are from the Dollar Store. The glue from a mega-store.
Begin by adding either a dot or a line of glue. As I went on, I found that a line of glue was easier to work with.

Place your stones along the edge of the bottom.
Continue placing stones, I added the next line in the space between the lower line of marbles. They stack well resting on the bottom two stones.

Such an inexpensive way of creating something that looks like it came from Crate and Barrell. The great part of using these glass shapes is that they come in so many different colors and can also be broken up with a stripe of rhinestones. Great idea. A project I will try with my grand children for their mom for mother's day.
