Morning Glory maybe - it is also beautiful - I have the purple growing from seeds planted 5 years ago. It grows back pretty quickly in summer.

Humming bird vine is fast growing with small red flowers that really attract butterfly's and bummers. It drops seeds and comes back from the seeds the next year.

Check the $ Store for artificial vinery if you want shade without hassles! Didn't need shade but used on one side of my home for deco. People actually think it is real..

I would definitely recommend morning glory.. I planted a WHOLE pack of seeds at the base of lamp pole, eventually had to trim back the vine every other day.. It wanted to cover the globe light😆 just make sure it either structure or twine to direct its growth

Sweet potato it grows rely fast plus you get sweet potatoes. I vine mine thru my porch rails. They will grow even faster but yield less potatoes if you fertilize them with nitrogen.

Hyacinth bean, fast growing, beautiful purple foliage and pink blooms. I think it is just ornamental I save the seeds each year and plant each spring due to it being an annual in my zone.

Definitely recommend hyacinth bean. Plus, save some of the bean pods for seeds the following year. Grew it on the west side of my front porch and was beautiful. the bean plant took a little time getting started, but once it did the vines we're beautiful green with the gorgeous fuchsia colored flowers, then the deep purple bean pods. You can't go wrong with this. But keep watered like any bean plant it will Wilt in the hot sun. I think the beans are pretty, too.

I like Black eyed Susan vines. They grow fast, bloom pretty yellow and brown flowers and die off in the winter. They also do well in containers too. Morning Glories are nice too, but this one vine is a little more unusual.

The hyacinth bean is a vine, but the regular hyacinth is not.

Scarlet runner beans, beautiful red flowers, quick growing, edible beans and can make great shade. Virginia creeper, quick growing, however it attracts aphids, and is invasive. Be careful where you plant it.
