The right side of my seat of my recliner is sagging. Can it be fixed? If it is just screws that might be loose I could do that myself. I hate to throw it out.

If you turn the recliner over you might find a set of springs that have come loose--on one we had these were not coiled but a sort of flat ones that went from side to side of the seat; where they screw into the wood or mount to a metal frame they can come loose; if they are loose you will need to figure out if the screw holes are too big and add wood glue and some wood to make the holes smaller--you can use wood from toothpicks; wood skewers or the like; if the wood is really damaged you might be able to replace or repair it with metal bracing (think the flat or angled iron pieces from Lowes etc) if it is metal you will have to see what kind of attachments it has and replace or tighten them up.
