We want to purchase a tankless water heater, say a 9.4-?

Will need plenty of hot water because one bath will have a 34"x66" water-jetted tub & the other will have a two-head, large shower. So, two full baths; one-story house. All plumbing is on the same end of the house. Our tank water heater now runs on gas. What is the most reliable tankless brand? Is it worth the money to hire a pro for installation or is it fairly easy to do? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am no plumber but I have put these in and I can promise you that you want a professional to install it. Two big names I hear a lot are Bosch and Rinnai, but I would check a consumer report type of website to get more info. On the installation, if it is not installed by a contractor that is certified by the manufacturer then you will void the warranty in many cases. Furthermore you will almost always have to move the water lines, gas line and they require there own special vent system for ...»
the exhaust gasses. Lastly the plumber has to have a state license because they have to comply with local gas and venting codes. While it is possible to do this yourself if you are handy, I would not recommend it because it can be very dangerous if installed incorrectly.
