Is it possible to have 2 sinks in a counter top that is only 50 inches

I currently have a 48 inch vanity, the countertop is 49.5 inches wide with only one sink. Is it possible to have a new countertop made and have 2 sinks inserted? What are the pumbing issues? We are also considering a "trough sink" and 2 faucets. Has anyone done this?

Yes you can, I have a 52'' counter and have been looking at them. There are lots of them online in the U.S. Ikea has one as well . You could alternatively just buy 2 smaller vessel sinks and put them on a counter. I like the idea of a trough sink, if you don't need the counter space, those look nice. I don't know about the plumbing issues, as I have not got that far yet.

I like the idea of the trough sink (farm house) with two faucets
