What kind of flooring for a screened in porch?

We have a 33 x 12 foot screened in porch with an intact cement slab. I can't stand the feel of the cement slab under my feet nor do I like the look. I love the idea of a wood plank floor but am worried that by laying a wood floor over the concrete, the rain and snow that blows in through the screens will run down and get trapped between the wood and the concrete and rot or mold from the underneath side. But maybe I'm overthinking it and with proper sealant (maybe Waterlox?) this wouldn't be such an issue? Could I use composite decking boards? I know that the vinyl plank floors aren't made for outdoors but wondered if I used a glue that was made for outdoor use if it would work ok? I live in Michigan so we have -20 winters and 90 degree summers. I don't want outdoor carpet. Suggestions are appreciated.

This might be off the wall.............but what about making or buying moveable decking squares....

Think you might run into problems using an indoor product outside. There are some fab finishes for concrete using paint/stain.

I've been looking at the decking squares. they seem to be more costly than the composite decking. But they aren't off the table. I'm reading about putting a "sleeper" frame underneath either the wood plank floor or the composite.

Try a google search for "wet area flooring". You will see many options for outdoor spaces.

My parents used ceramic tile squares on the porch at our old house. And they are still going strong....

I realize that you didn't like the cement floor, but staining it to look like a wooden floor or ceramic tile might help. Then you could paint some canvas to make thin durable rugs that don't need major cleaning.
