Hope Williams on May 13, 2015Check to make sure all the glide parts are straight. Have her sit and glide slowly while you are close to the chair bottom. It should help zero in on the cause.Helpful Reply

Kathie taylor on May 13, 2015wood needs oil. wd40 not a good idea, although would have been my first thought as well. Have you tried lemon oil? and from an old wives tail....candle wax....Helpful Reply

Jeani Miller Miner on May 13, 2015yeah, it's probably wood on wood. If the soap doesn't work you can purchase a 'crayon' made specifically to assist drawer glides (wooden glides). it smells weird but works really well. Good luckHelpful Reply

Jill on May 13, 2015Either a bar of soap, or candle wax. The soap is more noticeable, candle wax is not so noticeable. Both will last a fair amount of time, but still have to be reapplied maybe every year or so.Helpful Reply
