  • You'll need: mason jar or baby food jar with sealable lid, kitchen sponge, hammer and nail, heavy-duty string, sponge, sugar, scissors, saucepan and flower stickers or decorative tape (optional). 2
  • 1. Prepare "butterfly food" by mixing nine parts water with one part sugar. If you are using a mason jar for your feeder, use tablespoons, and if you are using a baby food jar, use teaspoons.
  • 2. Using a nail and hammer, punch a small hole in the center of the lid. A piece of a sponge will need to fit snuggly in the hole, so keep it small – you can always make it bigger if necessary.

  • After attempting to clean with Comet and Liquid toilet bowl cleaner I still had this nasty hard water build up scuzzy ring. 10

  • The lemon Koolaid works in the dishwasher too for removing the soap scum build up from the insides.  Just put in in place of the soap and run an empty washer on it's regular cycle...  The before and after will amaze you!

    try this tip now - and another thought...what it you sprinkled it on a sponge then rubbed the inside of the glass in your shower? Might work on that foggy scum...

    20 mm long so I wonder if it was the queen looking for a nesting place? She was inside my window/screen -in a screened-in porch area - with very nice rafting above in the soffit area....hmmm....
