getting rid of weeds in flowerbeds and I'll just post this as a reminder if it hasn't come up already. The pictures posted are of a preeemergent product called Amaze by Green Light. There 's another called Preen which also comes in a weed and feed. I have not tried them but in many parts of the country now is the time to apply to your planting beds. You'll have to do it yearly in order to get maximum effect.

Preemergent products are lifesavers, I would suggest a early spring time application, weeds are perennials and are going dormant and dieing off in the winter. In central Fl we do a Pre-M application at the end of February, I want the Pre-M down before the condition are correct for weed seeds that have been there all winter to start germinating and starting the cycle of growing, maturing and dropping more weed seeds. Once the pre-M is down in the spring do your weekly Round -Up treatments, spray the weeds when they are small, never let them get large enough to start producing more seeds, this is how quality landscape maintenance company keep properties weed free.
