Thrift Shop Grater Photo Easel

Some of you probably still use a grater like this to grate veggies or cheese, but I turned this $1 thrift shop purchase into a fun photo display for a vintage photo. It would also work for a recipe card! Use your imagination and a magnet!
I painted my $1 cheese grater with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in "Pure White", and distressed it with sandpaper.
The "before" photo of my project. The $1 thrift shop grater, a corner brace shim, and a label holder.
My corner brace shim was sawed off at an angle to become an easel stand.
Then the shim was attached with a screw from the front of the grater.
Chalk paint sticks to metal. I painted it in "Pure White" and then distressed it a bit.
Then I added a metal label holder and a card stock "Be Grate-ful" tag! See the details on my blog!
