This is a Stick Up

I potted 3 "mouse melon" plants today and needed a trellis for them to run up. Having 1 1/2 acres to scavenge, I found plenty of twigs and used some twine I had on hand.
Twine left over from a previous project and a good supply of twigs scavenged from my yard.
Here are my mouse melons in their new pot. You can see all those little tendrils anxiously looking for something to grasp.
Here's my rustic (and free) trellis! It's ready for the vines that will be climbing up soon.

Hi there, this was a very smart idea. I was wondering, could I make one of these for a climbing rose? What do you think? Please.
