Antique Chicken Feeder Succulent Garden
by

I found this antique metal chicken feeder at a local flea market and I as soon as I saw it I knew what I wanted to use it for.
It was in excellent shape for its age, but also shows that time-worn look that makes it perfect!
I planted my succulents in it, and now it sits on my kitchen table.
I sprayed the inside with a coat of flexible rubber coating to seal the cracks and gaps in between the end pieces.
For the all of the steps and my tricks to planting succulents in repurposed containers, head on over to the blog!

Wendy Cochran on May 18, 2015I went to am auction sale 2 weeks ago and got 8 for $5.00. I only needed 1 but got the whole works. I plan on planting succulents in it.
