Wood table on porch
I would like to put a small wooden table out on my covered porch. Is there anything I can put on the wood to protect it from dampness? It is already varnished. Thanks!

Spar varnish, several coats is what I was told to do here in Kansas where the weather can be brutal. I have a heavy coffee table that I am going to paint white with Exterior enamel. I know it will have to be repainted; but I want it to match my other white furniture. I plan to use it as a bench and put cushions on it.
