Boy Scout Nursery

My husband and his dad were Eagle Scouts and that is where we found inspiration for our baby boy's nursery. We went with a camping, outdoorsy direction for the accessories and accents. I wanted the color scheme to reflect that as well so i went with army green, navy, and khaki with pops of orange.
We planked the wall behind the crib and painted it Louisburg Green by Benjamin Moore. The quilt was a handmade gift by a friend which I think turned out beautifully and is classic enough to grow with him as he gets older.
The camp signs were actually decor from a shower thrown by family but we found a place for them in the nursery.
We found free vintage posters of National Parks and hung them up in IKEA frames. The basket is an old butcher's storage tray that fits the changing pad perfectly!
On the side of the bookcase that we built, we painted it with chalkboard paint. The felt campfire set is waiting for our little guy to start imagining many adventures.
For accessorizing the bookcase we used a lot of vintage books that were either my husband's or his dad's
