Inset Storage Shed

Historic Shed
by Historic Shed
What do you do with a recessed planter area at your house? Aside from growing some measly flowers, you might consider scrapping the planter and adding some storage space.
Nothing attractive ever grows in these recessed planter beds next to the house. There isn't enough space, water or sun to grow anything but hardy, low maintenance plants. The homeowner approached Historic Shed to insert a new storage unit in the space.
Removing the low planter wall and dirt allowed Historic Shed to put in a new deck for a shed floor.
Then we constructed three walls and installed some attractive cypress beadboard doors. The resulting shed fit nicely in the alcove, creating useful storage space on the side of the house. The owners’ response after the shed was complete: "It looks fantastic…it’s looks like it was part of the original house … Love it!… "
