Patriotic Yarn Wrapped Mason Jars

I love red, white, and blue in my summer decorating. If you follow me, you know I love mason jars and yarn wrapping, too, so it was only a matter of time before I combined all three!
You'll need mason jars, yarn (and/or baker's twine), and Mod Podge for this craft.
Paint a stip of Mod Podge on the jar and start wrapping.
I find wrapping mason jars pretty easy. You can just spin the jar around while you're holding the yarn and guide the yarn with your fingers.
I couldn't stop myself from making a few! I ran out of the first bit of yarn and had to switch skeins, but I had plenty in my stash. Some ideas for these jars include making them into candle holders...
or holding cutlery for a picnic.
These will definitely be my go-to containers this summer! They make me happy just looking at them.

These are very cool. Thanks for the idea. If you want to jazz them up a bit you can string a few beads on the yarn before you start wrapping. What did you use in the candle jars to fill in around the tea lights?
